As a former tenant of Bruin Apartments and a resident at 6135 E. Tudor Rd (2013 to 2017), I can tell you that you won’t find a better rental or rental experience in Anchorage for the price! Normally, getting into a rental requires sacrifices in one area or another, but Ruth and Scott are extremely accommodating, and I was very happy in my one-bedroom apartment. The units are updated nicely with laminate floors, carpet in the bedrooms, new appliances in the kitchen, and updated bathrooms. Need something larger than one bedroom? No problem! Ruth and Scott have two-bedroom units available in another complex just around the corner...

The property is clean and well kept. The apartments are 10 minutes away from everything but you still had your peace and quiet from the neighborhood. That was good for me because I worked odd shifts. Our neighbors were friendly.
Our land-lady was always pleasant and willing to help with whatever she could. The maintenance staff, Bruce and Jose, were friendly and always ready to help if you had anything to be taken care of in your apartment. A cleaning-lady would vacuum stairs, clean windows, and the yard was well kept. The laundry room was clean and had adequate washers and dryers.
...Maintenance is on-site and available at any hour (how many rentals can boast such a thing?), and any necessary repairs are completed immediately. Bad neighbors, noise complaints, APD visits, etc. are a thing of the past, because your input as a tenant is taken seriously by your landlord, not ignored. Security cameras watch the building lot, so you can feel confident that your property is safe. These apartments are also pet friendly (size/noise level dependent), so don’t hesitate to ask to have your cat or guinea pig added to your lease! I can’t say enough good things about Ruth, Scott, and Bruin Apartments. Whether you’re starting out on your own, starting over, or just looking for somewhere comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe to live, you will be blown away by the quality of Bruin Apartments, and the positive, welcoming, helpful attitude of your new landlords. I give the whole experience 5 stars, and an A plus.

This has been one of the best apartments I have ever rented and I didn’t want to leave! Our move-out experience was quick, fast and easy, too.
